The Library is well-stocked and fully-computerized. It has a good collection of more than 2000 books covering all aspects of commerce, management, visual communication & Humanities. It regularly subscribes to Periodicals including daily newspapers in English and Tamil. The Library has a “Book Bank” consisting of core texts books, which are issued to economically weak students for the whole academic year. Services offered by the library are circulation, consultation, reference and inter- library loan.
There is also a collection of audio-visual materials like maps, atlases, compact discs and audio-cassettes. The library has comfortable Reading Room with a seating capacity of 60. It extends its current awareness services by providing newspapers/ magazines in the Staff Room and the Students’ Common Room. The library remains open from 9.00 a.m to 5.30 p.m on all working days. It remains closed on Sundays and other gazetted holidays.
A Psychology Laboratory is coming shortly well equipped with different types of apparatus for conducting experiments, such as electronic memory apparatus, tachistoscope, mirror drawing apparatus etc.
A range of psychological tests is also available in the laboratory, for example, personality tests, intelligence tests, aptitude tests, attitude and value scales etc.
The College provides Counselling services to students, throughout the academic session. An expert counsellor is available for consultation on Fridays – 10.00a.m. to 1.00p.m. We provide counselling Services on HIV, AIDS, Sexuality, Drug Abuse and other adolescent issues for students. Awareness is provided by doctors and trained counsellors through peer group training programmes.
Students’ Information Bulletin Board displays information regarding co-curricular activities taking place in the College and other educational institutions. The Board also displays important notices and students are required to keep themselves up to date on College affairs.
